03 About

Engineer, builder,
translator.

I work at the point where specialist analysis, project delivery and practical software meet.

Power systems engineering with a systems-design mindset.

I am a Senior Power System Electrical Engineer at Arup, based in Dallas. My core work covers short circuit, load flow, protection coordination and arc flash on large electrical programmes, primarily using SKM Power*Tools and ETAP.

Alongside project analysis, I build the supporting systems that help teams work with more clarity: interactive training, governed project information, technical document workflows, review tools and small pieces of software that remove manual, error-prone steps.

Good engineering is traceable.

Assumptions should be visible, methods should withstand review, and complex analysis should end in a decision someone can act on.

That principle shapes both my technical work and the tools around it. A polished output is useful only when another engineer can understand where it came from, what it leaves uncertain and how it should change the design.

Four connected areas.

The portfolio is deliberately broader than a list of studies because engineering quality depends on the surrounding delivery system.

01

Analysis

Model assumptions, operating scenarios, fault levels, protection behavior, incident energy and equipment duty.

02

Decisions

Turning outputs into constraints, design responses, review comments and issue-ready recommendations.

03

Systems

Creating repeatable workflows for data, documents, responsibilities, approvals and delivery status.

04

Learning

Making specialist methods understandable without removing the rigor that makes them trustworthy.

A technical practice built across engineering and data.
